Sex technology

OK, I wound up crashing as soon as I got home from work, and here I am, wide awake at 10:45.

I've got Modern Marvels on, and the topic is "Sex Technology."

I've already discussed vibrators here, but the stat on this show says only 2% of American women have them. That seems ridiculously low. I'm going to have to watch the end to see the copyright date of this show. (of course, I missed it)

Another topic was all the ridiculous gadgetry designed in the "good old days" to prevent erections, wet dreams, and masturbation. Of course, these devices were used on children and insane asylum inmates. I've been trying to find some images, but Googling only gets you chastity devices from the current era, designed for fetishists. I knew about this stuff, but DAMN. Some of the devices were, quite literally, torture.

I just wish these sick, sick people had devoted their energies to having fun, instead of preventing others from doing so.
