When there weren't any parties, sometimes she'd party with townies

I'm not ready to write a review yet, but I can most definitely give a hearty thumbs-up to The Hold Steady's new album Stay Positive.

When the aliens land, and they tell me "please explain your 'rock and roll,'" this is the album I will give them. This is the stuff all the kids are yammering about.

THS are rock and roll. Songs about drugs and alcohol, misfits and losers, rebellion and misspent youth... and those are the happy ones!

I need to figure a couple things out first, but I can't recommend this album enough.
