Bob: Sure thing, boss.
Bob e-mails Welsh translator, "Hey, Maelgwn, can you send me a quick translation of the following text, so we can get a sign made up?"
Shortly thereafter, Bob receives an e-mail from Maelgwn. "Hey, great response time," he thinks. "I can get out early today." Bob forwards the text to the sign-maker.
[End scene]
Sign goes up some time later.
Someone notices the translation reads: I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the translator wasn't in, and had his e-mail set to auto-reply. Bob just ran with it.
Needless to say, I've sent this story to everyone in my company. It may not be as funny as the hedgehog, but it'll do.
